Edinburgh is the perfect city to visit for a January Sales shopping trip. You’ll find plentiful shops, cafes, restaurants and many historical landmarks and attractions. There is so much to see and do here that you really need more than just a few days. We hope that after your first visit you’ll come back and see us time and again.
Old Town Shopping
Our Old Town has been designated a world heritage site by UNESCO and we are extremely proud of that. It’s a quirky part of town with lots of unusual independent and vintage shops to explore around The Grassmarket and Victoria Street. For traditional Scottish gifts and souvenirs there is no better place to start than The Royal Mile.
High Street and Designer Shopping
Princes Street is Edinburgh’s main shopping street, where all the major high street names are centred. Close by, George Street is a beautiful, grand street known for stylish fashion brands. For top end designers visit Multrees Walk where you’ll find the likes of Harvey Nichols and Louis Vuitton. The January sales are undoubtedly the best opportunity you’ll get to bag a bargain here!
The Dunstane’s January Sale
The Dunstane Hotel is the perfect base for your January Sales shopping trip to Edinburgh … and our own amazing sale is back! From 2nd January to 2nd February 2017 we’re offering our special sale price of just £20.17 per person, subject to T&Cs. We are located close to Haymarket Station and just a short bus ride to the main shopping district.
Bring your woolly sweaters (or buy some in the sales), settle in front of our fire with a lovely Scotch whisky and rest your tired feet after a long day strolling the stores. There’s also a delicious menu to tempt you in our famous Scottish restaurant, Skerries, so be sure to bring your appetite!
