Girl’s Day Out In Edinburgh

If your TV is under firm control of the men in your life watching the Rugby World Cup, or even if you are a Rugby fan and just need to get out the house, we’ve got some great ideas for a Girl’s Day Out in Edinburgh! So get dressed up in your best Autumn outfits, dig out those stylish scarves and cosy boots and head into the city centre.

If you don’t want to spend too much of your day in a Spa, why not pop into Harvey Nichols for a manicure courtesy of Nails Inc? With over 150 shades to choose from and a Gel manicure that lasts up to 3 weeks, it’s the perfect way to kick start your day. We’re pretty sure we spotted glasses of fizz being served last time we were there too…never too early!

Ladies Who Lunch

Time to catch up and what better way to do this than over lunch? There are so many options to choose from for a good lunch in Edinburgh, if you’re in the mood for Sushi there is a YO! Sushi bar on the top floor of Harvey Nichols so you don’t need to wander far after having your nails done to get lunch! If you do want to head out of the shop, try The Boozy Cow and their “Holy Cow Burger” or head further up George Street to the newly refurbished Tigerlily and their fantastic new menu!

Cocktail Time!

Be honest, this is the real reason you went out to Edinburgh! There’s almost no point in listing any cocktail bars in Edinburgh as there are so many great options, it’s hard to go wrong. We’ll stick with the George Street theme here and the two places we like best for cocktails are Le Monde and Candy Bar – if the weather is nice, sitting outside is great at Candy Bar!

Home Time

If you don’t want the night to end here, why not take a look at our latest special offers on accommodation and book a room at The Dunstane!
