Directors Derek & Shirley Mowat bought The Dunstane in 1998, and now lead a long-standing and dedicated Management team with over 35 years combined experience at The Dunstane.
Samantha Wright is the Sales & Revenue Manager at The Dunstane and has been with us for over 7 years. She has worked across all aspects of the business, and her attention to detail is second to none. In addition to her current role Samantha remains heavily involved in the overall hotel management.
Jamie Trousdale is our Operations Manager, and is a relatively new addition to the Management Team. Jamie has taken on an entirely new challenge front of house by focusing strongly on the guests’ experience, as well as the high levels of service for which we have become well known.
Head Chef Martin Collins has been with us for over 2 years and is something of an expert when it comes to creating spectacular dishes using fresh, Scottish produce. Martin takes personal responsibility for the menu design in Skerries Restaurant and is always keen to develop new ideas. With his hard work and dedication to his craft Martin will be aiming for a rosette this year!
Laura Taylor is Head Housekeeper at The Dunstane, and has been maintaining our extremely high standards for over 9 years. Laura always ensures that we have unrivalled levels of cleanliness throughout the hotel and in each and every one of our rooms, and she has always achieved 100% with our Visit Scotland grading’s year after year.
